Family quilt for J & L

My family likes to do cross stitch for marriages and births. These fun x-stitch squares are put into a woven ribbon quilt pattern and with the squares floating in the intersections of the ribbons. I used some of the same fabrics that were in Joshua and Lee’s queen size moon and sun piece but used the wonderful moon and sun printed fabric that inspired their quilt. This piece is a wall hanging with hearts or love in the center of the marriage and have a well woven marriage. This is machine pieced and quilted. The cross stitch is done by hand by different members of my family.
