Bird Quilt

This little bird quilt started out as a panel with a pane for each of the bird species making them all sitting in a tree. I decided they need to be in a window as I had seen it done where I bought the panel. I also knew it was going to my sister Kim who lives in Texas and I was going to see her soon. Get it done was the action note for me! I made it up before I had to leave. The wooden frame with a sleeve that hangs above it to be seen as part of the windows fancy work. Kim’s husband Dave decided that they would hang it as a valence on their back door. It was a simple project that gave me pleasure to give and them to receive. This always makes it fun all the way around.
